Mike's Restaurant

During one of our many conversations, the topic of Red Lobster arose. Jennie and I both were interested, but Kevin does not like sea food. Here is a Navy officer who does not like sea food. To some of us this seems strange.

Jennie and I decided that we will go to Red Lobster on Saturday 17 June 2006. A few days before, she asked if we could change it to Mike's Restaurant in Annapolis. Fine with me. I had no idea what a treat was installed for me! Also Kevin's parents joined us and this made the day even more special.

We met at the parking lot at CompUSA and from there I rode with them. We went straight to the restaurant and passed the Greek Orthodox church on the way there.

When we arrived, we went to the outside section. A few minutes later his mother came with a friend and then his father came. Later a friend of the family also came. The friend who came with Kevin's mother did not stay, but went to their house and picked up some things that they needed and returned and then left.

After the wonderful meal and company, I went to Cathedral Gardens for Vigil. There was another celebration going on there and I joined in on that one also. When I arrived at the chapel, Nestor was cutting the grass and he told me to go over to the celebration and out of obedience I went. There are times when obedience can be fun!
