Demetrios Memorial Saturday

Saturday 1 November 2008 was Demetrios Memorial Saturday and we had Liturgy at our chapel at Cathedral Gardens in Elkridge MD. We probably did more Slavonic than English, mainly because of the make-up of our congregation.

I was the first to arrive and when I drove up to the chapel, there were deer in the fields. I just grabbed the camera with the 70-300mm lens and kept shooting until they ran away.

After the Liturgy we had a little picnic. One nice thing about services at the chapel is that we have all of this picnic grounds that we can use and it really makes the day so much more enjoyable.
