Georgian Picnic

On Sunday 15 July 2007 the Georgian members of our community hosted a wonderful picnic for us at Cathedral Gardens, There was plenty of food and when we were full, they brought out more. Every time the Georgians have a picnic, it is always a real treat.

As usually I took photographs. Natalie also took a bunch of photographs and hers are on a different page than mine becvause of the number of photos that we took, over 300.

I strongly believe in developing our young people and supporting their positive activities. Good photographs are always needed and when I see young people who are interested in becoming good photographers, I encourage them as much as I can. This attitude has helped in the past when I needed somebody else to take photographs and I was able to ask Sarah, Natalie's older sister. But often Sarah is needed more in the kitchen.

For photographers who want technical data, my pictures were taken with the Nikon D50 and the 70-300mm zoom lens for the most part. A few were taken with the Canon Rebel with the 18-50mm zoom lens. Natalie's pictures were taken with the Canon system. I also used the Nikon SB-400 speedlight on my camera. Both cameras were set on auto.
