Ukrainian Festival - Sunday
I don't have much to say other than that if you enjoy these photographs, then you MUST attend the Russian Festival in October. Some of the photographs here are intended to help us to plan for next year. I think that those will be rather obvious.
On Sunday I had a really special treat. The bishop who tonsured me a reader in 1986 was at the Festival and I had a chance to talk with him for a few minutes and also had my picture taken with him. I asked a woman who was in one of the booths to take the photograph. Later when I told her whom she photographed, she was shocked.
The gentleman in the yellow shirt who was photographed with me was impressed that I can speak Russian.
I was overwhelmed by the hospitality of the people from St. Andrew Church. The people from St. Michael Orthodox Church were also wonderful to me. But then, we Orthodox are like one big happy family.
