Coffee Hour and Baptism
After the Liturgy in most Orthodox Church we have coffee hour or something like it. This is our weekly opportunity to come together socially as the Body of Chrit, as family.
On Sunday 22 July 2007 I noticed that Julie was at a sewing machine. She and her husband sewed many of the items that we have around the temple and it felt that it would be appropriate to get a photo of her in this very important role of her.
Then we had a Baptism in the temple and I assisted with the singing and also took photographs, obviously. Eventually my role as a photographer will cease, but by them I hope that the parish will have quite a collection of digital photographs that we can use for education and public relations. God have me this talent and I want to use it for His glory.
