Thursday of the 2007 Parish Life Conference

Every day of the 2007 Parish Life Confeence was full of joy and blessings. After the daily Bible study, we had the Litrugy. Fr. Timothy Creemens taught the Bible study and he is fantastic. I am also very fortunate to be able to claim him as a classmate in the seminary. Fr. Boniface gave the sermon after the Liturgy.

Bishop Thomas was kept busy during the whole Conference. On this page you see him visiting the teens and the children. He also made his rounds to the workshops.

Fr. Daniel of Indonesia was there to make us aware of the Orthodox Church there. If you have not heard his life story, you must hear it. It is absolutely fascinating.

After Vespers photographs were taken of all the Antiochian clergy. Then the bishop met with them for a few minutes.

The next event was the Mission dinner. At the end the bishop started the Dominos roll.

Later we also had the Bible Bowl. It is quite challenging. I guarantee you that I did not get all the answers. One little girl, about four, answered aloud one of the early questions. It was so funny. There was supposed to have been complete silence.

The day ended with an Ice Cream Social for the teens.
