Crab Feast 2006

Alberyt outdid himself again. This time on our crab feast on Friday 15 September 2006 at Cathedral Gardens. Those of us who attended had a great time.

I was too busy eating crabs and delicious corn to take too many photographs. But, of course, I had to take a few. At the table with me were Vera on my left, Fr. John on my right, and two doctors across from me, Dr. Victorslav and Dr. Charles. Dr. Victorslav just returned from Moscow with a set of gorgeous gold vestments for me. What is especially good about them, besides the fact that they are lighter in weight than my other set of gold, is that the coloring matches that of Fr. John's vestments. Thus, I don't have to "outshine the priest." It does not bother Fr. John, but there are priests who do get upset of one of their subdeacons is better dressed than they.

Besides the good food, we also some interesting and lively conversation. Fr. Charles also had a good time playing with some of the kids. He is really good with them.
