Greek Festival - 2006
This year the Greek Festival at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation occurred at the time that I had the worst cold in my life. I went both Saturday and Sunday, mainly to get dinner. Of course I would not miss the Festival unless I was out of town, confined to my home, or dead.
At tahe time of the Festival I have not yet received my new SB600 flash for my Nikon and I was still have problems with the flash for my Canon. All the dancing was outside and I was there only after dark. The internal flash units just did not have enough power for the situation. The AA batteries were not producing enough power for the external flash. Later I found my slow battery charger and started using that instead of the 15-minute battery chargers and it seems that the external flash for the Canon is working much better and the Canon's batteries are lasitng much longer.
