Jennie-Xenia - Kevin-Michael wedding

The day for which we have been waiting finally arrived. Although the weather was not very cooperative, it was still a glorious day. Jennie Xenia and Kevin Michael became one, united in Holy Matrimony.

The highlight of the day for me was reading the Epistle. This was not the first time that I read the Epistle in a wedding, but it was the first time that my name was actually on the program. I had been requested to read the Epistle on another occasion, but I had a commitment that day and I was not even sure that I would be at that wedding. It turned out that I arrived at the church in time for the wedding.

Nothing stopped me from reserving the date for this wedding. Since I served in the wedding, I did not take any photographs of the ceremony. But I did take some before and after and at the reception. I just wish that my Canon digital SLR had come back from the repair shop in time. But my Kodak did a decent job.
