Front Door Fixed
There was a knock on the front door. I answered it and saw this young man there and he said to me, "I can fix your screen door for you." At first I said, I can't afford it, but then I asked him how much. He quoted a very reasonable price so I decided to let him try.
Not only did he fix the door, but he also gave me some extra screws. Some of my neighbors and the mail carrier are very happy now. My landlord has not been able to find the replacement parts. We do not expect the door to last very long, but it is functional now. Mr. Charles, my next door neighbor, thinks that it will last another 15 to 20 years. I doubt it. But then I did not think that my car would last more than six months to a year. I've now owned it for two and a half years.
This is just another positive thing that happened in the best neighborhood of Baltimore.
