Trees are completely gone
The final step in removing the trees is to grind out the stump. On Wednesday 26 November 2008 Jarad showed up with his truck and equipment and spent most of the day grinding out the stumps of the five trees which had been removed. The first tree was removed in 2005, I think. I cannot find any record of it. So it must had been before I started taking photographs with my digital cameras. That was in 2005.
In June 2005 I purchased my Canon Rebel dSLR. It was in the shop the next month for the first time because of broken pins. It was in the shop again in 2007 for Err99 messages. Nobody knows what the problem was but it cost me $200 to have it fixed. In two years it was in the shop twice. My Nikon have a combined life of about three years and one was in the shop because somebody laid it on a slick cover of a book on a slanted stand and it went crashing to the floor immediately.
You can see the depth of the work that Jarad did. I hpe that I do have his name correct. The tree roots were really deep. It was these roots that were getting into the foundation of houses and causing serious problems.
It took the City of Baltimore about three years to finish the first stump, but the others were taken care of within weeks. We residents of Seton Hill who are affected by the roots greatly appreciate having the work done.
