Removal of tree branches

For years we citizens in Seton Hill have complained about the trees in the area. It is not that we do not like trees. In fact, we love trees, but when the roots go into our houses and damage our foundations, then we have a serious problem.

The tree in front of Ms. Ernestine's house has been dying for a long time, but the City would not take it down. Finally in 2008 we managed to get in touch with the right people who understood the situation.

The tree in front of Ms. Ernestine's house had another problem, electrical wires. Before the tree could be removed, BGE had to remove the branches which were too close to the wires.

I was not at home on Thursday 13 November 2008 when the crew started the work on this tree. But I did catch the end. Now it is a matter of record.
