Horace the Cat

Shortly after I moved into my current house, Horace made his acquaintance known. He quickly let me know that he thinks that he owns all the houses in the neighborhood and he roams where he wills.

I did not grow up liking cats. Basically I was neutral towards them until after I left college and Dyanne Scagliarini turned me on to cats. She had a cattery and she would share stories with me about her cats. Over the years I have happily shared my home with cats and I probably will do so again soon. But meanwhile, I have most of the advantages of having a cat without the disadvantages.

Horace is basically the neighborhood cat, although he does own the two women at the end of the row. Both Katherine and Bonnie are wonderful and I am glad to have them as neighbors. They also have another cat who never leaves the house. Horace was a stray that a friend of Katherine found and gave to her.
