When I was asked to take photographs at this event, my response was that I probably could not do so. I had to many things planned that it just did not look possible. Besides the visit of Bishop Thomas at Holy Cross Antiochian Orthodox Church, I also had the Ukranian Festival and there was the computer show. In addition, there was a wake which I was planning to attend.
I was finished at Holy Cross early in the afternoon. I found out a few days earlier that the wake was for family members and I did not need to attend. I decided not to go to the computer show. Thus, I had time to take some pictures and still get over to the Ukranian Festival which lasted until late. Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, St. Andrew Orthodox Church, Four Evangelists Orthodox Mission, Christ the Savior Orthodox Mission of Delaware, and St. Michael Ukranian Orthodox Church were all there. To our surprise, St. Michael Ukranian Catholic Church was not there.
Also, one of the boys in my parish took part in some of the entertainment. Thank God that I did get some photos of him dancing. I wish that I had a telephoto lens. But the pictures still were decent.
