East Point Mall Celebrates its 50th Anniversary
The weekend of 6-8 October was an extremely busy and intersting weekend for me. The main event was Education Day at St. Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary. But the evening before I was wandering around East Point Mall after withdrawing some cash from the ATM at Provident Bank.
As I was wandering around, I noticed four older men standing outside the card shop and the eye-glass store. It seemed rather strange to me since they all wore similar shirts. Obviously they were not just the usual shoppers in the mall. I also heard a younger man talking on a cell phone or radio and he said that we are outside Radio Shack.
Then suddenly one man pulled out an instrument to give a pitch and then they started singing barbershop type songs. It was wonderfu! I immediately pulled out my camera to take pictures.
Please enjoy the photographs.
