Artscape 2005

The weekend of 21-23 July 2006 was a special one for many people in Baltimore. It was the Annual Artscape. This year I went on Saturday only. My schedule is much more full than it was last year.

Before going to Artscape on Saturday, I had breakfast with my usual Saturday morning group. Like last year, the group had a birthdake cake for me and Mary gave me a box of candy and a Wal-Mart gift card. I really did not think that they knew and I had forgotten about last year. Now I know why Mary called the previous night. She used a book as an excuse.

After eating and socializing, I walked to Artscape. The first thing that I saw was this fashion show and I took a few pictures. If you see some art work here that you like, get in touch with the artist.

Artscape had everything for everbody almost. If you do not like the music at one location, go elsewhere and chances are that you will hear the music that you like.

I came across one both which was hosted by the Baltimore Sister Cities Program and I signed up as a volunteer for Odessa in Ukraine. The Odessa, Ukraine alignment was founded in 1974, but it has been inactive for several years. Now it is time to become active again. Thank God that I do speak some Russian.
