Walters Art Gallery
On Saturday 26 November 2005, after having breakfast with my regular Saturday morning group, I wandered over to the Walters Art Gallery. It has been years since I was last there and what a pleasant surprise!
I really did not want to stay too long since I had other things to do as well. But I felt that it was necessary to spend a little time reviewing what they have.
I also did not realize that flash photography was permitted. I am used to being allowed to photograph, but without flash. You can be sure that I will go back again soon and photograph many items, this time with flash.
The light level was a little low for good photography. But then, it is a challenge. I was really happy to see all the icons there, especially those done by students from Saint Michael's School, Ridge MD; Summit Academy, Woodstock MD; and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Baltimore MD.
